Info on War of the Worlds
The Art of Time Ensemble’s War of the Worlds show is back for a second year at Harbourfront Centre.
Canadian actors Sean Cullen (The Producers), Nicholas Campbell (Da Vinci’s Inquest) and Marc Bendavid (The Border) stage Orson Welles’ infamous War of the Worlds radio drama, backed by a radio orchestra, a live foley sound effects artist and a film mix backdrop. Herrmannthology kicks off the night, performing scores from classic thrillers like Psycho and Taxi Driver.
The Art of Time Ensemble’s seasoned classical musicians have blended their symphony sounds with contemporary genres for more than a decade, collaborating with popular Canadian artists like Sarah Slean, Steven Page and Michael Ondaatje.
